The Bishkek city administration has announced the return of the territory of the Eastern bus station to its balance.
Previously, this area was used by the company OsOO "Union of Drivers" for organizing paid parking, but the rental payments did not reach the city budget.
Now the city administration has completed the necessary procedures for the return of the land. In turn, OsOO "Union of Drivers" provided the city administration with a guarantee letter, promising to dismantle the structures located on the territory within three days.
Currently, the process of clearing the area of vehicles is underway, and the dismantling of fences is also being carried out.
In the future, a complete reconstruction of this area is planned. The Eastern bus station will be adapted for the operation of taxis and minibuses that run to Kemin, Kant, and Tokmok.
As part of the planned project, the area will be paved, lighting will be installed, road markings will be made, and necessary road signs will be placed.
