On March 15, a memorial event was held in Kyrgyzstan in honor of Father's Day, as reported by Turmush correspondent.

This event was organized in memory of Lieutenant of the Border Service Dastan Anarbekov, who tragically died in 2021 in the Batken region during the conflict at the Kyrgyz-Tajik border.

The memorial ceremony took place at Border Post No. 2029 "Satykay" named after A. Jumabekov. It was attended by elders, members of the women's council, and young servicemen.

The ceremony began with the reading of the Quran and a remembrance of the deceased, after which the cultural department organized a concert for the servicemen.

Dastan Anarbekov, who was only 21 years old, became a victim of the armed conflict in Batken. He served as the deputy head of the "Dostuk" border post. In 2022, he gave his life defending the village of Dostuk and was buried on December 29 at the "Ata-Beyit" memorial complex in Bishkek. President Sadyr Japarov attended the farewell.

His grave is located next to the mausoleums of other heroes, tankers Sherali Anarkulov, Sanjarbek Anarkulov, and Tilek Zhanibay uulu, who also died during the border conflict.
