“In anticipation of Nowruz, on March 20, we will organize the preparation of sümölök in two cauldrons with the participation of employees from city institutions and enterprises. Delegates from the capital are expected to attend the celebration, including State Secretary Aslan Koichiev, as well as guests from other regions,” she added.
Yurts will be set up in the square, a theatrical concert program will take place, and attendees will be given sümölök. National games and a fair showcasing products from local manufacturers and goods from other cities and regions are also planned. In the evening, at 18:00, a gala concert featuring well-known artists of the Kyrgyz pop scene will be held,” Tashtanbekova reported.
Additionally, she mentioned that about 2 million soms have been allocated from the city budget for organizing the festive events.
