This was reported by Ernis Teltaev, who heads the regional branch of the State Center for Vehicle Registration and Driver's Licenses, which is subordinate to the administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
“The campaign to exchange indefinite driver's licenses generated significant interest among residents. As a result, 8,013 people updated their licenses, among which 7,388 received new documents, and 276 exchanged lost licenses. The exchange process is ongoing,” Teltaev noted.
Additionally, since the beginning of the year, the regional center has issued 15,025 driver's licenses. Of these, 13,499 people exchanged old documents, and 629 applied for restoration due to lost licenses. It is worth noting that 9,507 citizens used the app for online registration.
