In Bishkek, Mayor Aibek Junushaliev inspected a section of Auezov Street, where he, along with his team, planted trees and shrubs, including alder. This event took place in an area where temporary structures had previously been dismantled, as reported by the city hall.
In the future, a walking area is planned to be created here.
During the visit, the mayor gave a number of instructions. In particular, he called for considering the possibility of increasing the number of parking spaces, removing overhead power lines, and improving landscaping.
Additionally, it was instructed to bring all trade facilities in line with the approved design code.
On Sagymbai Manaschy Street, the mayor also suggested working on the organization of public transport stops and installing ramps for the convenience of people with limited mobility.
Furthermore, on Sagymbai Manaschy Street, near the technical channel of the CHPP, the dismantling of existing structures is planned to create parking and a square in the freed-up area.
It should be noted that the dismantling of several structures is taking place on a voluntary basis.
The mayor also pointed out the need to prohibit the sale of alcohol in adjacent areas.
As for the existing parking on the northern side of the street, owned by the Union of Drivers, it is subject to dismantling, and a multi-level parking structure is planned to be built in its place in the future.
