In Bishkek, on March 22, 2026, in the afternoon, the southern part of the bridge on Jibek Jolu Avenue will be ceremonially put into operation.
According to information provided by the city administration, before the reconstruction, the width of the bridge was only 9 meters, which significantly hindered vehicle traffic. After the upgrade, the bridge was expanded to 34.3 meters in width and 25 meters in length, which meets modern standards.
During the implementation of the project, a complete reconstruction of the bridge was carried out, the number of traffic lanes increased, and convenient sidewalks for pedestrians were added.
