
The labor contract offered in the UK can last up to six months, and knowledge of the English language is not a mandatory requirement. Proficiency in Russian is quite sufficient, as in most cases, managers and supervisors are Russian-speaking migrants from Eastern Europe. This was reported by Esenbek Ergeshov, head of the Labor Migration Department of the Employment Center for Citizens Abroad, on the air of Birinchi Radio.
To participate in this program, it is necessary to register on the official website migrant.kg. The start dates for registration are usually not announced in advance and are published only in the fall, a few days or even a day before the application acceptance opens.
Once the link is posted, candidates can register online, and their data is automatically sent to partners for initial selection. Applicants who meet the established criteria will undergo remote testing on basic knowledge of the Russian language. If they pass the test successfully, they will be invited for interviews conducted by company representatives in Bishkek or Osh during the winter period.
The final decision on employment is made within two weeks after the interview, and in the spring, selected citizens of Kyrgyzstan begin their work in the UK.
