The international ranking tournament in sports wrestling, Muhamet Malo–2026, has concluded in Tirana, where Kyrgyz athlete Uzur Jusupbekov won a bronze medal in the 96 kg category, according to information from the agency for physical culture and sports.

Jusupbekov's start in the tournament was promising: he secured a confident victory over Turkmen wrestler Amanberdi Agamammetov with a decisive score of 9:0.

However, in the quarterfinals, the Kyrgyz faced Arthur Sargsyan from Russia and suffered a defeat with a score of 0:9. Nevertheless, this did not eliminate his chances for a medal, as he continued to compete through the consolation matches.

In the match for a place in the small final, Jusupbekov triumphed over Mahammad Ahmadiev from Azerbaijan, winning with a score of 8:2. In the decisive match for third place, he defeated Iranian Amirreza Moradiyan, finishing the bout with a score of 4:2.
