In the first reading, the deputies discussed a draft law concerning amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Physical Culture and Sports." The initiator of this draft law was the Cabinet of Ministers.
Urmаt Asanbaev, the director of the State Agency for Physical Culture, emphasized that the goal of the draft law is to create comfortable conditions for people engaged in adaptive sports, including those with hearing impairments.
The project also contains provisions regulating the interaction between republican federations and authorized state bodies in the field of physical culture and sports, as well as norms for accounting the labor experience of athletes.
Furthermore, the adoption of rules aimed at ensuring the safety of spectators at mass sporting events will contribute to strengthening the system of order and security during all sporting events in the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the discussion, Deputy Dastanbek Jumabekov expressed support for the draft law, raising the important issue of accounting for the labor experience of athletes.
Deputy Dastan Bekeshev emphasized the need for the development of mass sports, the organization of sports facilities, and the creation of school and student leagues in volleyball, basketball, and other sports.
Ulanbek Zhaanbaev raised questions about the necessity of exemption from duties for the import of sports equipment and support for athletes engaged in non-Olympic sports.
Deputy Zhanibek Amatov also supported the provisions of the draft law and raised the issue of the procedure for accounting labor experience and social support for athletes.
