Bokonbaev Gamal Japievich

Painter. Born on November 26, 1958, in the city of Frunze. In 1981, he graduated from the Frunze Polytechnic Institute, Faculty of Architecture. From 1981 to 1984, he was a senior architect at the Main Architectural Department. In 1984, he graduated from the city studio of painting and drawing. From 1984 to 1988, he worked as a designer at an advertising agency, and in 1988, he became a graphic designer, collaborating under labor agreements with state enterprises and cooperatives.

Since 1992, he has been a member of the Union of Designers, and since 199% (the year seems to be incomplete) he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The artist's thinking is syncretic. It encompasses images of space (architecture), color (painting), and words (literature). In G. Bokonbaev's painting, postmodern tendencies can be traced.

Participant in national and international exhibitions. His works are in private collections abroad.
