- In the Kyrgyz Republic, it is planned to sow winter crops on an area of 250 thousand hectares for the 2026 harvest. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture.

As of November 10, 2025, 81,640 hectares have already been sown, which accounts for 33% of the total planned work.

“The main crops to be sown are winter wheat and barley. Sowing operations are being carried out in all regions of the country. The necessary agricultural machinery is being utilized to achieve the set goals, and a sufficient amount of seed material has been provided, allowing work to be conducted within optimal agronomic timelines,” the statement notes.
