- According to data from the Eurasian Development Bank, in the Kyrgyz Republic, the volume of lending from commercial banks increased by 52% year-on-year from January to October 2025, while in the same period last year, the growth was 26%. This is reported in the institution's Weekly Macro Review.

The average interest rate on loans during this period was 16.4%, which corresponds to the level recorded in 2024.

“The growth of credit activity contributes to the maintenance of domestic demand, which continues to be the main driver of economic growth. It is expected that by the end of 2025, GDP will grow by 10.3%,” the report notes.
