Here comes the month of March… March, the first month of spring, has many names, each more affectionate than the last: protalnik, kapelnik, vesnovey.
The name March comes from the ancient Romans in honor of the god of war Mars, who was once recognized as the protector of peaceful labor. In ancient times in Kyrgyzstan, it was called zhalgan kuran.
