Dzholdoshev and a number of other comrades were vilified at the V Plenary of the Kirgiz Regional Committee of the Party, which took place in December 1935. The plenary session was dedicated to the results of the verification of party documents in the Kyrgyz party organization. From the report of the second secretary of the Kirgiz Regional Committee of the Party: “... expelled from the party for supporting the Akhvostiev-Sydykov counter-revolutionary nationalist organization. And one more detail characterizing Dzholdoshev.
The last time Akima Otorbaevna saw her husband was on August 7, 1937. During their meeting, he told her that he had started learning German and, with the help of a German cellmate, had learned to speak German. Resigned, he still maintained hope for the triumph of justice.
On August 27, 1937, the troika of the NKVD of the Kyrgyz ASSR sentenced him. The death certificate, received only after the XX Congress of the CPSU, states that Dzholdoshev died in 1946 from lobar pneumonia, although his relatives believe that he perished much earlier, even before the war.
