At Capital School No. 37, Afghan War Veterans Conducted a Lesson for High School Students

In Bishkek, at school No. 37 in the Oktobrskiy district, an important event took place dedicated to the 37th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan and Defender of the Fatherland Day. As part of this event, certificates for initial military registration were handed out.

Among the honored guests were Colonel General Abdygul Chotbaev and Colonel Zholoy Chyntemirov, who is the chairman of the Oktobrskiy district council of war veterans, labor front workers, Armed Forces, and law enforcement agencies.

Before the main event, Colonel Chyntemirov conducted a "Lesson of Courage" for the graduates, during which he shared his knowledge about the causes of the conflict, the lessons that can be learned from this tragedy, as well as the current activities of veteran organizations.

The celebration began with a screening of a documentary film dedicated to the events of the war in Afghanistan, after which veterans shared their memories and everyday life experiences in that land.

The program concluded with the school principal Dinara Atantaeva emphasizing the importance of military-patriotic education for the youth and expressing gratitude to the veterans for their participation in this important endeavor.
