The ceremony was attended by key figures in the region: B. Osmonov, head of the Ton District Administration, district prosecutor K. Karimov, and Sh. Ilimgaziev, head of the district internal affairs department. Additionally, the chairman of the veterans' council T. Alchikeev, heads of village administrations, representatives of district organizations, veterans of the war in Afghanistan, local activists, and schoolchildren were present.
During the event, a moment of silence was observed in memory of the fallen soldiers, emphasizing their bravery and courage in serving the Motherland.
The district akim delivered a speech in which he expressed sincere gratitude to the participants of the Afghan campaign, wishing them health and many years of life. Awards from the district state administration were also presented.
At the conclusion of the event, a memorial (celebratory) lunch was provided for 51 veterans and their spouses, as well as for the widows of the fallen servicemen.
