The total amount allocated for their construction and renovation was 15.5 billion soms.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services, this year, 15.5 billion soms were allocated from the republican budget for the construction and major renovation of facilities intended for socio-cultural needs, which is 33.6% more than the funding volume of 2024.
“Together with local self-government bodies, the ministry completed the construction and renovation of 291 social facilities. The work on 183 small facilities has also been fully completed. This is 20.96% more compared to the previous year,” the statement notes.
By region, the largest number of new social facilities was introduced in the Jalal-Abad region — 80, followed by the Osh region with 63, Issyk-Kul region — 39, Chui region — 34, Batken region — 22, Naryn region — 21, Bishkek — 13, Osh — 10, and Talas region — 9.
Among the new facilities: 129 schools, 60 kindergartens, 26 medical institutions, 27 sports facilities, 8 cultural institutions, 34 other facilities, and 7 "Taza-Suu" systems.
