
At a press conference at the "Kabar" agency, the chairman of the board, Malik-Aidar Abakirov, announced that 85% of guarantees have been provided to regional entrepreneurs.
According to him, 66% of the fund's resources are directed towards supporting key sectors of the economy, including agriculture, processing, industry, tourism, and mortgage lending.
“Special attention is paid to women's and youth entrepreneurship. 40% of the total amount of guarantees issued is allocated to support women's business. A total of 658 guarantees have been issued for an amount of 586.2 million soms, which has allowed attracting loans totaling 2.5 billion soms. This year, we are developing special programs for women's and youth entrepreneurship to promote their more active development,” the chairman added.
Regarding investments and international projects, Abakirov noted that the fund is implementing three projects with the support of the World Bank, two of which have already been completed.
“The project on portfolio guarantees amounting to 32 million dollars was successfully completed last year, one and a half years ahead of schedule, which received a high evaluation – highly satisfactory. In addition, we signed an agreement with the World Bank for the allocation of 59 million dollars for green guarantees, and the practical implementation of this project will begin in the second quarter of 2026,” he reported.
