Kyrgyzstan aims to significantly ease the lives of foreign tourists. The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, has instructed the prompt launch of a unified digital platform that will consolidate all necessary services in a "one-stop-shop" format.
Currently, the tourism sector faces a serious problem: services are fragmented. Foreign citizens have to interact with various government structures to obtain visas, arrange insurance, or organize transportation. This creates additional bureaucratic difficulties and sometimes a language barrier, which negatively impacts the country's image.
"Tourists should not waste time on bureaucratic procedures. We need a platform that can integrate government services, business offers, and modern payment methods. The entire process—from crossing the border to leaving the country—should be digitized and intuitive," noted Adylbek Kasymaliev.
The development of the "digital tourist window" will be handled by an interdepartmental group, which includes the Department of Tourism, the Ministry of Digital Development, the Ministry of Finance, and specialists from the state enterprise "Tunduk." They are expected to approve the technical parameters of the system and determine funding sources in the near future. It is anticipated that the new platform will be a significant stimulus for increasing tourist flow and will make the stay in Kyrgyzstan as comfortable as possible.
