- Average rate at exchange points: buying — 87.35 soms, selling — 87.79 soms.
Euro:
- Official rate from the NB KR: 104.7782 soms (increase of 1.02 percent). This is a new high for January and a record level for all of 2025.
- Average rate at exchange points: buying — 104.12 soms, selling — 105.11 soms.
Russian Ruble:
- Rate from the NB KR: 1.1451 soms (increase of 0.13 percent).
- Average rate at exchange points: buying — 1.131 soms, selling — 1.164 soms.
Kazakh Tenge:
- Rate set by the NB KR: 0.1736 soms (decrease of 0.34 percent).
- Average rate at exchange points: buying — 0.1501 soms, selling — 0.1831 soms.
Chinese Yuan:
- Official rate from the NB KR: 12.5907 soms (increase of 0.15 percent). This is another historical record for the exchange rate of the Chinese currency.
- Average rate at exchange points: buying — 12.7 soms, selling — 13.2 soms.
