The ruble and dollar are rising, the yuan hits a new record. Exchange rates as of January 19

As of January 19, the official exchange rates of the US dollar, Russian ruble, and Chinese yuan have increased, while the euro and Kazakh tenge have become cheaper. This data was provided by the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan and exchange offices in Bishkek.

US Dollar:

Exchange rate according to the NB KR: 87.45 soms (increase of 0.001 percent).

Average rate in exchange offices: buying — 87.38 soms, selling — 87.8 soms.

Euro:

Exchange rate according to the NB KR: 101.5251 soms (decrease of 0.18 percent). This currency has reached its annual low.

Average rate in exchange offices: buying — 101.50 soms, selling — 102.5 soms.

Russian Ruble:

Exchange rate according to the NB KR: 1.1182 soms (increase of 0.24 percent).

Average rate in exchange offices: buying — 1.107 soms, selling — 1.136 soms.

Kazakh Tenge:

Exchange rate according to the NB KR: 0.1709 soms (decrease of 0.18 percent).

Average rate in exchange offices: buying — 0.1447 soms, selling — 0.1807 soms.

Chinese Yuan:

Exchange rate according to the NB KR: 12.5489 soms (increase of 0.01 percent). This is already the fourth record for the yuan since the beginning of 2026.

Average rate in exchange offices: buying — 12.7 soms, selling — 13.5 soms.
