The ruble has significantly appreciated against the som, the euro has depreciated. Exchange rates as of January 23

As of January 23, the official exchange rates for currencies, including the Russian ruble, Kazakh tenge, and Chinese yuan, showed an increase, while the euro decreased in value. The US dollar remained unchanged. This data was provided by the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan and exchange points in the capital.

US Dollar:

Official rate from the NB KR: 87.45 soms (unchanged).

Average rate at exchange points: buying — 87.36 soms, selling — 87.8 soms.

Euro:

Official rate from the NB KR: 102.2203 soms (decrease of 0.18 percent). Correction after recent growth.

Average rate at exchange points: buying — 102.06 soms, selling — 103.04 soms.

Russian Ruble:

Official rate from the NB KR: 1.1409 soms (increase of 1.47 percent). New high for January.

Average rate at exchange points: buying — 1.14 soms, selling — 1.169 soms.

Kazakh Tenge:

Official rate from the NB KR: 0.1728 soms (increase of 0.12 percent).

Average rate at exchange points: buying — 0.152 soms, selling — 0.1807 soms.

Chinese Yuan:

Official rate from the NB KR: 12.5593 soms (increase of 0.01 percent).

Average rate at exchange points: buying — 12.7 soms, selling — 13.2 soms.
