In various corners of Kyrgyzstan, including the capital, fairs are scheduled to take place until June 2026, where local producers, farmers, and artisans will offer socially important food products. These events will be held on specific days.
According to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, the republic does not experience a shortage of staple food products, and reserves remain at a sufficient level. The fairs are organized to ensure stable supplies to the domestic market and to offer quality products to the population at affordable prices.
In Bishkek, fairs are held every Saturday and Sunday with the support of the city administration. The organization of the events is carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture in cooperation with local authorities.
Products at the fairs are offered at prices below market rates. The main goal is to limit price increases, ensure the availability of products for socially vulnerable groups, support domestic producers, and maintain stability in the domestic market.
