Agricultural fairs continue in Kyrgyzstan

In the capital and other regions of Kyrgyzstan, the successful program of fairs continues, featuring local farmers and producers. According to the approved schedule, these trade events, which began last year, will take place until June 2026. In Bishkek, weekend fairs are traditionally held every Saturday and Sunday.

The organization of the fairs is carried out by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry in collaboration with the Bishkek City Hall. The main goal of these events is to support domestic producers, prevent price increases, and ensure the availability of quality food products for socially vulnerable groups of the population. Organizers note that there is no food shortage in the republic, reserves are at a sufficient level, and the fairs help maintain stability in the domestic market.

In Bishkek, fairs are held at three key locations: at T. Usubaliev Square, at the intersection of I. Razzakov and Abdymomunov Streets, and on Erkindik Boulevard in the Pervomaisky District. Only those producers whose products meet sanitary and hygienic standards can participate in the fairs. One of the mandatory conditions is to set prices below market rates and to have an official letter from the district agricultural administration.
