
During a meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on industrial policy, transport, fuel and energy complex, architecture, and construction, the First Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Beknazar Bazaraliev spoke about the plans for 2026. He reported that the total budget allocated for road construction will amount to 39 billion 111 million soms.
According to Bazaraliev, of this amount, 1.5 billion soms will be directed to the internal roads of Karakol from the stabilization fund. In addition, capital investments will total 20 billion 680 million soms, of which 17 billion 680 million soms will go towards the construction of the Barskoon–Bede road. The road fund will receive 7 billion 949 million soms, and this amount may increase with the arrival of additional funds.
The asphalting of 457 kilometers of roads is planned for next year in the following regions:
- 83 km in Chui region
- 74 km in Naryn region
- 61 km in Talas region
- 58 km in Issyk-Kul region
- 76 km in Osh region
- 65 km in Jalal-Abad region
- 37.4 km in Batken region
