In the Issyk-Kul region, preparations for the spring growing season of 2026 are actively underway.
The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry informs about the start of comprehensive measures aimed at restoring and improving the irrigation infrastructure to ensure agricultural lands receive the necessary irrigation water.
As part of these measures, mechanized cleaning works are being carried out on the irrigation systems managed by the Issyk-Kul District Water Management Authority, in the rural district of Sadyr Ake. These actions are intended to increase the capacity of the irrigation channels and guarantee an uninterrupted water supply during the spring fieldwork period.
It is planned that in 2026, mechanized cleaning of internal agricultural channels with a total length of 26 kilometers will be conducted in the rural district of Sadyr Ake. Currently, specialized equipment is being used to gradually clean the channels' beds from silt, ensuring a free flow of water.
These preparatory works will create the necessary conditions for the region's farmers, allowing them to start spring fieldwork on time and contributing to increased agricultural yields.
