In Kara-Kul, a meeting was held dedicated to issues of small and medium-sized businesses. The main point of discussion was the clarification of Presidential Decree No. 18 dated January 28, 2026, which introduces a temporary moratorium on tax audits of entrepreneurs.

Employees of the city prosecutor's office, representatives of the State Tax Service (GNS) for Kara-Kul, and local entrepreneurs participated in the event.

During the meeting, it was explained in detail that there is currently a temporary ban on any tax audits that go beyond a clearly defined regulation. Participants were informed that this decision is aimed at:

- increasing entrepreneurial activity.

- creating a more favorable investment climate.

- reducing administrative pressure on businesses.

Representatives of the regulatory authorities emphasized that the Constitution guarantees freedom of economic activity. Interference in the affairs of entrepreneurs on grounds not provided for by law is unacceptable.

Discussion of legal issues also occupied an important place on the agenda. Prosecutors warned that any violations of the moratorium conditions by public officials will be dealt with strictly in accordance with the law. Every report of unlawful audits will be investigated by prosecutors with appropriate measures taken in response.
