A new machine and tractor station (MTS) has begun operating in the Ak-Suu district, created to support local farmers and modernize the agricultural sector. This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture.
The project was initiated by President Sadyr Japarov, who allocated 108 million soms from the Presidential Fund for its implementation. The MTS was established using the base of the previously existing enterprise "Selenenergo," located in the village of Ak-Suu.
As part of this project, the purchase of more than 60 units of agricultural machinery is planned, of which 32 have already arrived. The new equipment will serve farmers from the Ak-Suu, Tyup, and Jeti-Oguz districts.
The machine and tractor station offers a wide range of agronomic services – from soil preparation to harvesting. Special attention is given to potato farming: as part of the project, 10 potato harvesting combines were purchased.
At present, the station is actively participating in spring fieldwork, providing farmers with quality and timely services, which contributes to improving the efficiency of agriculture in the region.
