The Ministry of Transport and Communications has provided information on the progress of the reconstruction of the highway connecting Balakchy, Bokonbaev, and Karakol, which has a length of 141.6 kilometers.
According to available data, construction work is currently actively underway on the section of the road from 0 to 25 kilometers. It is planned to put this section into operation in the coming weeks.
As for the remaining 116.6 kilometers, according to the ministry's statement, their construction is expected to be completed this year.
Thus, the final completion of all reconstruction work on the Balakchy — Bokonbaev — Karakol road is scheduled for 2026.
