This very venue was chosen by the artists of the contemporary art exhibition "TOPOGRAFICA" in the new gallery of the American University of Central Asia to present their works. The exhibition showcased a non-linear connection between a globalist view of the Central Asian landscape, with its mesmerizing beauty of abstract geometry and graphic reliefs, and an immersive experience in the cultural landscape, rich with visual images seen not from above, but from within.
The exhibition features works by over 25 artists from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and the USA. The works are displayed in the halls of the educational institution, and students have become regular visitors to the exhibition. They are more closely engaged with art, examining and discussing the works, admiring the authors' ideas.
This exhibition is an artistic exploration of the socio-cultural landscape of the Central Asian region. "TOPOGRAFICA" will run until December 5 in the gallery on the second and fourth floors of the educational institution. Tours and discussion programs are available for visitors on Saturdays: November 7, 14, 21, 28, and December 5 from 10 AM to 5 PM.
