Surabaldiyeva previously noted that there are disputes in the corridors of parliament and that deputies are dividing into "aka-uka" (a term in Kyrgyz that denotes division based on regional or clan affiliations).
Amanova, in turn, emphasized that there should be no questions about regional divisions in the Jogorku Kenesh and urged caution in words regarding such divisions. She noted that discussions of candidates are taking place and that the elections are not without alternatives. "Please be careful with such statements. I have not heard discussions about 'aka-uka', despite the fact that we are all here," Amanova added.
Surabaldiyeva's response was swift: she reminded that Amanova is not new to the deputy position (she was elected in 2021 on the list of the "Ata Meken" party, and in 2020 she ran from the "Birimdik" party).
"Dear colleague, you are not new to parliament. Before saying anything about me, think twice. It is not customary in parliament to comment on colleagues. I did not mention any names, but all 87 deputies see each other here. Perhaps many citizens are still unaware of what is happening, but sooner or later everything will become clear. Be more attentive," Surabaldiyeva concluded.
