The press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan reported that Bektur Aliev is no longer the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank.
The new deputy is Medet Tairov.
He obtained a bachelor's degree in economics from the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University in 2008, after which he became a master of economics. His career path began in a managerial position and culminated in directorships at large commercial institutions.
Tairov started his work in the banking sector at the Closed Joint Stock Company "Kyrgyz Investment and Credit Bank". In 2016, he moved to the Open Joint Stock Company "Aiyl Bank", and until 2023, he held the position of board member at the Closed Joint Stock Company "Bank of Asia".
