"Kyrgyz Export" plans to organize exhibitions in Russia, the UAE, and Europe to promote Kyrgyz companies in foreign markets
Jumaliev noted that last year Kyrgyzstan participated in over 30 exhibitions in the Russian Federation. The result of these events was export contracts totaling more than 400 million soms, involving over 1,500 companies.
“If circumstances allow, this year we will try to involve even more companies. We are also opening new directions. In addition to Russia, last year we visited Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Orders have already started coming in from various companies, including retail chains and hotels. At the same time, we are working on entering European markets such as Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, and France. It is important to understand that high-quality products are required for these markets,” he added.
He also emphasized that for export, entrepreneurs must obtain the necessary documents, such as a certificate of conformity, a declaration of conformity, and a certificate of origin. These documents must be processed within the established deadlines through the relevant authorities.
The Deputy Director pointed out that to work with Germany or France, companies are required to have the international standard ISO 9001, which is quite costly. This year, upon successful implementation, it is planned to reimburse part of the costs for obtaining the standard in the amount of 30% or 50%.
In addition, the organization also finances the implementation of special standards and concepts. "Kyrgyz Export" collaborates with various partners, including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. According to Jumaliev, some companies are already operating according to international standards; however, such enterprises are still in the minority, as implementing standards requires significant financial investments.
