According to information from the ministry, this decision confirms that the national system of control and certification in Kyrgyzstan meets the strict requirements of the European Union. This, in turn, creates new opportunities for local honey producers, allowing them to expand their sales markets and enhance their competitiveness on the international stage.
Previous attempts to enter the European market faced serious obstacles due to strict certification requirements, making the export of Kyrgyz honey impossible.
The Ministry of Agriculture also noted that it will continue its efforts to increase the list of products from Kyrgyzstan that have gained access to the European Union market.
