The government intends to increase the export of food products to 75 billion soms, reflecting the strategy outlined in the Cabinet's action plan.

It is expected that the implementation of this project will begin in the first quarter of 2026 and continue until the fourth quarter of 2030.

As part of this initiative, a national brand will be created for organic and halal products, including the development of a logo, packaging, and marketing strategy. The Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Economy have been appointed responsible for carrying out this task.

The key outcome of this work will be the launch of the national brand and the creation of a marketing strategy aimed at promoting Kyrgyz nuts, rice, honey, and dried apricots, which should contribute to increasing the export volume to 75 billion soms.

According to information from the National Statistics Committee, in 2024, the value of exported food products amounted to approximately 37.5 billion soms. This figure includes the export of animals and animal products, plant products, fats and oils, as well as prepared food products and beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as tobacco.
