Criminal proceedings have been initiated in this case under Article 122 (Murder) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational search activities, the suspect was identified — citizen P.A., born in 1968, who had previously been convicted for a similar crime. He was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation revealed that E.A. and P.A. worked as herders in the same sheepfold and on the eve, January 28, 2026, around 10:00 PM, they consumed alcohol together. During a conflict that arose, P.A. stabbed E.A., after which the victim died. After committing the crime, the suspect disposed of the murder weapon by throwing the knife into a street toilet.
At present, the knife has been recovered and will be used as physical evidence. Necessary forensic examinations have been appointed, and investigative actions are ongoing.
