As Ismailov noted, the focus of this program will be on the development of sectors such as livestock, crop production, water management, and processing. To achieve the set goals, the creation of new production capacities, the implementation of modern technologies, and the improvement of workers' professional skills are anticipated.
An important aspect of the program is ensuring access to clean drinking water, which is considered a key element of sustainable development in rural areas.
Regarding crop production, Ismailov emphasized that one of the strategic tasks is to increase production volumes by 30%. This is planned to be achieved by expanding the cultivation of crops such as wheat and potatoes, as well as other major agricultural products.
In the field of livestock, the ministry aims to shift from quantitative to qualitative indicators. This implies the development of breeding livestock, which, in turn, should enhance both the volume and quality of products such as meat, milk, and wool.
Furthermore, Ismailov reported that, according to the Cabinet of Ministers' directive, financial support has been allocated for the development of cattle, including the purchase of breeding materials. These materials will be distributed across regions, taking into account the specifics of climatic conditions.
“Some of the breeding materials have already been distributed, while the remaining ones are being stored and will be handed over to farmers as they become ready,” he added.
