The visit of the First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev to major American businessmen served as a reason to discuss opportunities for cooperation in the field of investments.
During the negotiations, Amangeldiev emphasized that the Kyrgyz Republic is actively implementing significant infrastructure, energy, and industrial projects. He highlighted that these initiatives create long-term sources for sustainable economic growth and contribute to the modernization of the country's economy.
He paid special attention to the Kambarata HPP-1 project, which is of utmost importance in the region. According to him, this project lays the foundations for energy security, the development of the industrial sector, and the increase of electricity exports.
In addition, the First Deputy Chairman noted that such strategic initiatives change the economic landscape of the region and open new horizons for international business.
Daniyar Amangeldiev also reported that the international rating agency Standard & Poor’s Global Ratings confirmed Kyrgyzstan's sovereign credit rating at B+ with a "Stable" outlook for 2025. This, he said, confirms the successful results of structural reforms and the growing trust from foreign investors.
The Deputy Chairman noted that the country's tax policy is aimed at supporting and stimulating investors.
"The main task of our Cabinet of Ministers is to create a reliable, clear, and competitive environment for long-term investments and technological partnerships in Kyrgyzstan," he added.
In conclusion of the meeting, the First Deputy Chairman expressed hope that this dialogue will serve as a foundation for new projects and long-term economic partnership between the Kyrgyz Republic and American companies.
