President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov proposed posthumously awarding the honorary title of "Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic" to Chubak Azhy Jalilov, who was a well-known religious figure and preacher. This initiative was announced during a meeting between the president and Talantbek Tashibekov, the chairman of the National Agency for Religious Affairs and Interethnic Relations.
During the discussion, Tashibekov also shared plans for organizing a jubilee event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of his agency and appealed to the head of state to consider the possibility of awarding state honors to deserving religious figures.
