These preferential terms will be in effect until December 31, 2026, covering a volume of up to 5,000 tons.
The preference applies to the following categories of meat:
- fresh and chilled meat (HS Code EAEU 0201);
- frozen meat (HS Code EAEU 0202).
To obtain this concession, a document issued by the authorized body of the member state is required, which must specify the importers, the names of the goods, and the volumes of supplies.
It is important to emphasize that the imported meat must be used exclusively as raw material for processing enterprises. The export of finished products produced using this meat to other states of the union is prohibited.
The EEC hopes that this measure will help meet the needs of the domestic market for quality raw materials, support processing, ensure price stability, and enhance food security in the member states of the union.
