The trade and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the Altai Republic is gaining new momentum. To this end, Vladimir Poletayev, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Altai Republic and authorized representative of the region in Moscow, arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a working visit. The main goal of his trip is to strengthen foreign economic relations and promote the products of Altai producers in the Kyrgyz market.
During his visit, Vladimir Poletayev held a series of significant meetings with key figures such as the Ambassador of Russia Sergey Vakunov, Trade Representative Ainur Samanov, and the head of the Eurasian Development Bank representation Nurlan Akmatov. These meetings discussed the prospects for increasing the presence of Altai goods in Kyrgyzstan's agriculture, as well as the possibilities for direct supplies of products from this ecologically clean region of Russia.
However, the visit was not limited to economic issues. It also touched on humanitarian aspects: representatives of Altai and relevant ministries of Kyrgyzstan discussed ways to exchange experience in tourism, where both regions have significant potential. In addition, the parties agreed on further cooperation in the fields of education, sports, and culture. This approach emphasizes the commitment to strengthening interregional ties within the framework of Eurasian integration.
