At the World Government Summit, a meeting took place between the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, the Minister of Energy of the United Arab Emirates, Suhail Al-Mazrouei, and the CEO of Masdar, Mohammed Jamil Al-Ramahi.
During the discussions, the ways to implement energy projects in Kyrgyzstan were considered, and an agreement was reached to further strengthen cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the UAE.
Kasymaliev noted that one of the main directions of the state energy policy of the country is the development of "green" energy, emphasizing the importance of partnership in sustainable development and the use of renewable energy sources.
Mohammed Jamil Al-Ramahi confirmed that Masdar sees Kyrgyzstan as an important partner in the region and expressed readiness to develop further cooperation.
Additionally, within the framework of the meeting, a Framework Agreement was signed between the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic and Masdar.
