Residents of the rural district of Pamir-Alai, located in the Alai region of Osh province, discussed a number of pressing issues related to roads and water supply, as well as proposed the installation of a stele at the "Kyzyl-Art" checkpoint.
The meeting took place on February 6 at the building of the rural administration, where the akim of the Alai region, Chyngyz Bapaev, was present. At the event, residents expressed their concerns about the condition of the roads, access to water, as well as the need to improve infrastructure and transform land plots. Citizens also shared their suggestions and comments.

One of the requests was for the construction of a symbolic stele at the "Kyzyl-Art" checkpoint, which is located on the border with Tajikistan.

The head of the rural administration, Kutmanali Anarbaev, informed those present about the work completed in 2025 and outlined plans for 2026. The "Kyzyl-Art" checkpoint is situated at an altitude of 4,336 meters above sea level.
