- More than 400 Kyrgyz enterprises that produce livestock products and meet all veterinary and sanitary standards have been included in the register of the Eurasian Economic Union. This was reported by Tilek Tabaldiev, head of the veterinary and sanitary safety department of the veterinary service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, in an interview on the radio.

According to Tabaldiev, the main participants in the register are producers of milk, meat, honey, fish, and other livestock products. The key export items remain dairy products, honey, sausages, and fish.

He also noted that last year there was an increase in the export of chicken eggs – over 12 million locally produced eggs were sent abroad.

As Tabaldiev added, enterprises actively engaged in exports are generally aware of the EAEU requirements. However, some individual entrepreneurs sometimes attempt to export products without the necessary accompanying documents. In such cases, there is a need to obtain veterinary certificates and laboratory conclusions at the border.

He also mentioned that technical errors or typos can occur when processing documents, which are quickly corrected, allowing for the resumption of exports.
