The deputy inquired with the Ministry of Economic Development about what measures are being taken against violators of halal standards.
Addressing the Deputy Minister of Economy Sultan Akhmatov, he clarified whether certification is issued for halal products. In response, Akhmatov confirmed that such certification is indeed carried out.
Deputy Isirailov then asked about the measures taken against companies that have received certification but do not comply with the established standards. In response, the Deputy Director of Kyrgyzstandart Abdymanap Karymshakov explained that companies must undergo a complete inspection to obtain certification.
“Each company must pass all necessary checks. In case of violation of standards or failure to fulfill obligations, it can be held accountable under the law, which may include actions from law enforcement agencies,” Karymshakov added.
