- On February 11, 2026, at a plenary session of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Mahabat Mavlyanova expressed the idea of the need to shift from the volume to the quality of exported products.

In her speech, she emphasized the importance of developing organic agriculture.

Mavlyanova also proposed introducing preferential loan programs for farmers aimed at supporting organic agriculture with low interest rates.

Additionally, she noted that the country should open a laboratory for testing organic products.

The deputy called for the allocation of unused lands for the development of organic agriculture using drip irrigation.

"Farmers are currently using chemical fertilizers without control, which can lead to soil degradation," she noted.

This statement was responded to by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Bakyt Torobaev, who reported that work in this direction is already underway.

He added that there are 614,000 hectares of unused agricultural land in the country, ready to be provided to farmers for organic agriculture purposes.

On this day, information from the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic regarding preparations for spring fieldwork in 2026 was also considered.
