Information about the upcoming reforms in the State National Security Committee (GKNB) has been obtained from sources within law enforcement structures.
The implementation of changes will be carried out under the control of the new leadership. Among the expected improvements are the strengthening of work in the areas of intelligence and counterintelligence, as well as the activation of the fight against extremism and terrorism.
It is worth reminding that on February 10, President Sadyr Japarov made the decision to dismiss the chairman of the GKNB and his deputies.
The acting head of the special service is Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov.
In addition, the border service has been restored to an independent status, and a new State Guard Service has been created, which will be directly subordinate to the president.
