On February 12, a meeting took place in Bishkek where the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kairat Tursunkulov, met with the Ambassador of Qatar to Kyrgyzstan, Ali bin Jaber Al-Mari.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting focused on issues related to cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Qatar in the areas of trade, economy, as well as cultural and humanitarian relations. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the high level of political dialogue that has already been established between the states.
Specific steps for implementing previously reached agreements were discussed, including improving inter-agency cooperation.
It was also noted that Qatar received an invitation to participate in the VI World Nomad Games. During the negotiations, both sides positively assessed the existing cooperation within the framework of international organizations.
The parties confirmed their readiness to maintain regular working contacts for the effective promotion of the discussed issues.
