The Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, who also holds the position of Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, Bakyt Torobaev, held a meeting with the Ambassador of Qatar to Kyrgyzstan, Ali Jaber Al-Mari.
During the discussion, the parties addressed key issues concerning Kyrgyz-Qatari cooperation in various fields.
Special attention was given to the preparations for the second meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic, trade, and technical cooperation, which will be held in Bishkek in 2026, as well as the organization of high-level visits.
Bakyt Torobaev confirmed his readiness to support Qatari investors in implementing mutually beneficial projects in Kyrgyzstan.
Ali Jaber Al-Mari, in turn, thanked the Kyrgyz side for the warm welcome and expressed his support for the implementation of previously reached agreements, as well as interest in expanding multilateral cooperation.
