

In Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, the third economic forum "Central Asia – European Union" took place, in which Bakyt Torobaev, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, participated. This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan.
In his speech at the forum, Bakyt Torobaev emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation between the regions and to continue joint work in areas such as the economy, green energy, transport, and the use of natural resources.
In addition, during the forum, the Deputy Prime Minister held a meeting with Jozef Sikela, the European Union Commissioner for International Partnerships.
During the meeting, the current state and prospects of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the European Union were discussed. Bakyt Torobaev expressed gratitude for the support that the European Union and its institutions provide in the implementation of significant projects in Kyrgyzstan.
